Dr. Tom Rifai is a board-certified internal medicine and lifestyle medicine physician dedicated to transforming lives through evidence-based interventions. As founder and CEO of Reality Meets Science Inc (RMS), he leads lifestyle medicine programs based on The Flex5 Lifestyle methodology for healthy longevity.
Previously Regional Medical Director of Metabolic Health and Weight Management for Henry Ford Health, Dr. Rifai has over 20,000 hours directing multidisciplinary lifestyle intervention programs at Henry Ford Health System and Pritikin Longevity Center. He specializes in bariatric care and metabolic health management, leading cross-functional teams to improve patient outcomes.
Recognized nationally and internationally for contributions to metabolic health education, Dr. Rifai empowers individuals to prevent chronic disease through personalized lifestyle strategies. He draws from personal experience, including recovery from binge eating disorder and loss of his brother to the same condition.
