About SGLM

The evidence on the benefits of using Lifestyle Medicine as the center of medical care in order to prevent, manage and even reverse chronic conditions has been increasing immensely in the last years all over the world, and the professionals in Singapore are also progressively embracing the benefits of this practice.

The Singaporean Society of Lifestyle Medicine (SGLM) has been formed by healthcare professionals that have been already applying the principles of lifestyle medicine with their patients and in their own lives, and that would like to help educate other professionals and the population about its benefits, as well as promote a community for clinical discussions, networking and certification in lifestyle medicine.

Our Executive Board

SGLM is governed by a volunteer board of doctors, allied health practitioners, public health professionals, educators and health executives. Together, they work with strategic partners, members, and the population to advance evidenced-based lifestyle medicine as the first treatment option to address chronic disease in Singapore.
