🌿 HAZE ADVISORY – WALK WITH A DOC 🌿

The health and safety of our participants is our priority.

As Singapore is currently experiencing haze, we will be monitoring both

  • 24-hour PSI – 24hours before the walk

  • 1-hour PM2.5 readings – at 6am on the day of the walk

and will be following the health guidance issued by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and the SportSG Haze Management Plan.

Please refer to this link

Registered participants will be notified through our WhatsApp channel – 24 hours before the walk and at 6.30am on the day of the walk.

😷 Please consider your own health

Haze affects people differently. Participants who are older, pregnant, young children, or who have chronic lung or heart conditions are more sensitive to haze and should take extra precautions.

If you belong to one of these groups, please consider whether participating is appropriate for you, particularly when the PSI reaches the Unhealthy range (101–200) or above.

🚶🏻‍♀️ During the walk

Please:

  • Keep to a comfortable, moderate walking pace.

  • Avoid unnecessary strenuous exertion.

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Pay attention to how you feel.

  • Stop the activity and inform a walk leader if you develop symptoms such as coughing, breathing difficulty, chest discomfort, dizziness or significant eye/throat irritation.

  • Anyone who is feeling unwell should not participate.

The organisers reserve the right to modify, shorten, postpone or cancel the walk if air-quality conditions deteriorate or if we consider that continuing the activity would not be appropriate.

We will prioritise everyone's health and safety while still enabling our community to enjoy the benefits of walking, movement, social connection and time outdoors whenever conditions allow.

This advisory is based on the National Environment Agency's Haze/PSI Guide (June 2026) and Sport Singapore's Haze Management Plan (April 2026).
