In an era of "superfoods," conflicting headlines, and viral nutrition trends, distinguishing between scientific evidence and ideological dogma has never been more challenging. This session explores the fundamental truths of human nutrition and the mechanics of how we know what we know.
While touching upon the framework of modern dietary guidelines, Dr. David Katz will broaden the lens to address global dietary patterns. He will enumerate the specific factors that contribute to public doubt and confusion including the rise of diet mis/disinformation and provide listeners with the critical strategies needed to see past the noise.
